Martin Lahmann, West Coast Swing DJ

Martin Lahmann

Sports and exercise have been an integral part of Martin's life since childhood. He is particularly fond of various martial arts and obstacle courses. In this respect, the step to dancing was only a small one and after a few stops in Ballroom and Latin, as well as at the North German Championships in Discofox, Martin has dedicated himself to West Coast Swing since 2012 and is one of the veterans of the North German WCS scene. Martin (aka DJ MangoMouse) made the step from WCS dancer to WCS DJ in 2015 as a DJ at local West Coast Swing parties in Hamburg and has since been an integral part of the West Coast Swing DJ crew in Hamburg and northern Germany. He has been a staff DJ at Neverland Swing since 2017 and was also on staff at Budafest, Swing Generation, SwingIn Festival, Austrian Swing Spectacle, Cologne Swing Festival, Nordic X-Mas Swing, Anchor Festival, Cozy Swing and Carnival Swing. Martin is a social DJ and dancer through and through.
Justin Petersen, West Coast Swing DJ

Justin Petersen

After Tschen had a secret love affair with my sound card at a dance event last year, but then the pictures got leaked publicly on Facebook, he’s been trying to get to see his beloved sound card again. I took advantage of this situation, saying that the only way he could see his baby again is by letting me DJ at his event in the beautiful town of Erding. Of course, I am looking forward to bringing my music to another passionate community of West Coast Swing dancers, who continued to give me support that I very much appreciate. Watching his community grow, and foster their personal journeys within the WestCoast Swing world has been awesome to see, so it’s an absolute pleasure to be invited here.

Alicia Speckmann

Alicia started DJing in early 2022 and quickly began playing at many international events and for her local community in Bonn and Cologne. She draws from an eclectic background in music and is particularly interested in the intersection between music and storytelling, something that is also one of her main research interests as a student of English literature. She adores the emotional texture that DJs are allowed to build throughout a set and watching other dancers connect from the DJ booth.
